Thunderbird District's FOS Campaign There will be an FOS Training at the December 11th Roundtable in a separate breakout room for all the unit FOS chairs. Please make sure that you bring your FOS person to this training. Roundtables are held at the LDS Church located at 1320 Ridgeland Ave, Naperville,at 7:30pm.

Finance Committee Responsibilities
The Finance Chair and committee are responsible for planning and executing the annual financial program for the District, and coordinating Council fundraising efforts for the District.
Services Offered
- Instruct unit committees in the use of the unit budget plan.
- Counsel unit committees on successful ideas and techniques for unit fundraising for Pack, Troop, Crew or Team financial support.
- Coordinate project sales such as Trail’s End popcorn in the fall and Scout-O-Rama ticket sales in the spring to the benefit of individual Scouts, their units and the Council.
- Organize the annual Friends of Scouting (FOS) campaign to raise funds to support Council operations.
- Advise unit committees on matters of sales permits, insurance, sales tax, endowment funds, Scouting distributors, Scout stores, and Council/District financial policies.
